We hope you all had a great Memorial Day. It’s a privilege to have a holiday, some people having the day off. But, we cannot forget the real reason for Memorial Day, to honor the fallen. Remember to tell your loved ones, especially our service men and women, how much they mean to you.

Now, on to today. It’s Competition Tuesday and we have a fun one for you!

Last piece of info. This summer, we are adding something fun to the schedule!

1) A noon class for Swink Sweat!!! Perfect opportunity to double up on those workouts by coming to a mid day class.

2) We’re bringing back our Barbell class. Tues and Thurs evenings you’ll have the opportunity to partake in a class that focuses on the Snatch and Clean and Jerk as well as overall strength!

3) These 2 classes are always included in your unlimited membership. If you just have a 3x a week class, consider making your membership unlimited to be able to roam free! Also, be looking for small group technique classes coming soon as well, on a regular basis.

Competition Tuesday Swink Fundamentals & Performance -Mobility time: (Hips, Hamstrings, T-Spine)

Skill: -Finer Points of the movement below/any questions you have on any movement

12:00 AMRAP -30 Thrusters (bar) -25 Power Snatch (95/65) (75/55) -20 Power Cleans (135/95) (95/65) -15 Front Squats (165/125) (135/85) -10 Deadlifts (225/185) (185/125)

This workout demands a lot of weight switching, which is taxing on the body and mind. Be sure to be quick with your transitions, load the weight and go! Also, if you finish an entire round, you start again.

Pullup Strength: -3×5 Negative Pullups*

*focusing on a slow decent, about 3-5 seconds, and control through the bottom portion.
