Member of the Month – October

Our October member of the month was chosen this month because of his constant willingness to step outside his comfort zone in order to get better. He is extremely brave and courageous, always pushing himself to new limits even though he knows that he could, quite literally, fall on his face! Cutter Foreman hasn’t been at our gym as long as some, but his presence is just as well known. Cutter is known for his strength and fortitude in the gym, but these characteristics transfer over to his personality, too. He is strong and confident in his abilities, his faith, and his relationships. One thing that stands out to us most is his constant strive to become better at his weaknesses. He is a whole lot of man, so you can bet things like handstands and running aren’t his favorite thing, but that never stops him from working at them. In fact, he works at them more for this very reason! You better believe he is one to watch in the Open this next year! He is surely one we can all model after and take notes from on life both inside and outside Swink’s doors. Here is a little more about our October MOM! Congrats, brother!

My name is Cutter and I’ve been a member of Swink since February. Before Swink, I was a college baseball player then coach. I spent a lot of time in the gym doing what I thought was a “workout”. It wasn’t until I came to Swink that I actually understood what physical fitness meant.

I work in our family owned company and Swink has become my “safe place”! I have been married to the love of my life and fellow Swinker, Ashley, for over two years now. I enjoy being able to watch her succeed daily in CrossFit, complain about running & biking, and seeing her live out her passion for her teaching career. We love serving God together and being able to glorify Him in all areas of our life. Swink has not only challenged me physically but spiritually as well, pushing me to become a stronger Christian man.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price, therefore honor God with your bodies.”

What is your favorite think about Swink?

Our extended family and the non-stop laughter shared daily. Swink is a community that opened their arms and invited us in. No matter who’s next to you, they will always have your back.

What’s your favorite movement/workout?

I want to say squats or dead lift, however, power cleans are my jam!

What’s your least favorite?

Thruster…in every way shape and form

What’s your favorite clean meal/snack?

Chicken breast and green beans (with hummus)

What’s your favorite cheat meal?

Mexican food…all the Mexican food.

What advice would you give to someone new to Swink?

“No matter what is put in front of you, you CAN succeed. Believe in who you are and why your here.”
