Friday is here and that means 15.4 is up. This is another tough workout we’re faced with but I know you all can handle the challenge.
Remember, we’ll open the gym in the afternoon at 3:30 for anyone wanting to come work on skill, mobilize, etc. If anyone needs to come in at 4:30 to do 15.4 it’s totally ok. However, starting at 5:30 is when we’ll run heats and have most of you there cheering on and doing the workout. Good luck to everyone and we only have one more workout after this before the Open comes to a close.

Skill: -Handstand Pushups/Push Press
“15.4” (RX) 8:00 AMRAP -3 HSPU, 3 Cleans (185/125) -6 HSPU, 3 Cleans -9 HSPU, 3 Cleans -12 HSPU, 6 Cleans…etc.
“15.4” (Scaled) 8:00 AMRAP -10 Push Press (95/65) -10 Cleans (115/75)
So, as the rules state, there is a very tough standard for the HSPU, so we’ll be going over that.
As for scaled, there is a strict standard, too, and that it on the Push Press. It’s just that, it cannot be any form of a jerk, only Push Press. It also doesn’t state that we cannot use 2 bars, so we might as well!
